55 and still alive...starting a new phase

On April 3rd, I turned 55 yrs. old. I'm very proud of my age, as I lost my older brother James, a few days after his 25th birthday...each year since I turned 25 has been a true blessing. I told myself I wanted to learn new things this year:  blogging, Facebook, posting photos on the web, amongst others. So, here I am teaching this old dog new tricks!

I'll write about my quilting life, being a "mom" again at 55, somewhat reluctantly, as it wasn't in the cards I was holding, but life does happen, and lots more on my trip to "crazy", the destination I tell everyone that asks where I am going.  As they say, "this is the first day of the rest of my life"...here's hoping it's a long one, I have lots of quilts to finish, and even more to make!
